Katy Perry decided to go against Russell Brand’s request for her to dress modestly on stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Instead, she paid homage to his favorite football team, West Ham, by ignoring his advice and choosing her own outfit.
Before hosting the show in Berlin, Katy shared her thoughts with the Mirror and joked about how her partner, Russ, would likely want her to dress as a lollipop lady, fully covered from head to toe.
However, the comedian was over the moon when she handed out some of the awards dressed in a corset and hot pants featuring West Ham logos on her chest and Russell’s nickname ‘Rusty’ on her backside.
Russell excitedly posted on Twitter about how happy he was to see his girlfriend rocking a West Ham basque at the EMA’s. He also playfully mentioned the idea of bringing Gandhi back to life and hanging out with him.
At the age of 34, the person has made the decision to treat Katy, who is 25 years old, to a game at Upton Park to watch West Ham play.
He mentioned that he wants to take her to a West Ham Vs Everton match, making it clear that Arsenal is not on the agenda.
